Palmetto Towers

This senior affordable housing community is a $24M development consisting of a 96-unit high-rise operating under a project-based Section 8 HAP contract. This property was built in 1980 and acquired and rehabbed in 2020 with the allocation of approximately $14.8M in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
The rehabilitation included a complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the building. The exterior received upgraded landscaping, a new roof and generator, new windows, covered pavilion, and gardens beds. Palmetto received an expanded community center with a state of the art kitchen and all new furnishings. The interior of the building and units received new vinyl plank flooring, new fixtures, new paint, and upgraded kitchens and bathrooms.
